Square
To find the perimeter of a square you would add all the sides up or (s + s + s + s) or (s x 4)
Example
24 x 4=96
Perimeter=96
Perimeter=96
Rectangle
To get the perimeter of a rectangle multiply two time the length and two time the width then add them or (2l + 2w) or ((2 x l) + (2 x w)) or (2 x(l + w))
Example
2 x (7 + 12)= 38
Perimeter=38
Perimeter=38
Parallelogram
To find the perimeter of a parallelogram multiply the lenght of the base by two and multiply the lenght of the side by two then add them or ((2 x b) +(2 x a)) or (2 x (b + a))
Example
2 x (22 + 25)= 94
Perimeter=94
Perimeter=94
Circle
To find the circumference of a circle multiply the diameter by pi (3.14) or (d x 3.14)
If you have radius multiply radius by 2 then multiply it by pi (3.14) or (r x 2 x 3.14)
If you have radius multiply radius by 2 then multiply it by pi (3.14) or (r x 2 x 3.14)
Example with diameter
14 x 3.14=43.96
Circumference=43.96
Circumference=43.96
Example with radius
7 x 2=14
14 x 3.14=43.96
Circumference=43.96
14 x 3.14=43.96
Circumference=43.96
